ABOUT MEZZANINE ENGINEERING
Extract from Sudo JV Report Aug 09

Now in their 24th year, Mezzanine Engineering is an Australian owned company and is one of Australia's most highly regarded suppliers of steel storage and access products, providing high quality mezzanine floors, pallet racking, steel stairs and warehouse storage products.  Their factory is located at 8 Dowling Place, South Windsor NSW.

With their own RACKFAST brand of pallet racking and their structural steel mezzanine floors, Mezzanine Engineering is at the forefront of the Australian steel manufacturing industry.
Their innovative paint systems and high quality paint products ensure a high quality finish on every project. According to general manager Ray Medina, their core values underpin the entire business, being "quality, professionalism, customer service and integrity'". The majority of their products are manufactured in their Sydney factory and through highly efficient manufacturing and transport processes supply and install products cost effectively throughout Australia.
They have two key warehouse facilities, one being in Sydney and the other in Brisbane, and an office in Melbourne. Through a network of distributors they supply their products along the eastern seaboard. They also provide their customers with a once-a-year free safety audit, along with an annual compliance certificate, which is becoming increasingly necessary as insurance companies, OH&S managers and workplace authorities require greater emphasis on safety and request such assurances.

Their highly regarded RACKFAST pallet racking is premium quality and is available in a wide range of  compatible options with most other brands. The increasing demand for their pallet racking and shelving is perhaps due to its high level of manufactured quality along with the speed at which it can be installed. They offer a warranty system, which according to Ray Medina "is second to none, based on a philosophy of repair or replace". Their major customers include Coca Cola, Acer Computers, Sony Australia, Metcash IGA, Forty Winks and the State Transit Authority, just to name a few. Their quest for sustainability is at the forefront of everything they do with a commendable target of becoming carbon neutral by 2013. They  have a  manufacturing policy of  reduce, reuse or recycle and to this end have achieved a 100% recycle rate. They employ a team of highly trained and experienced staff including designers, fabricators and installers. Their team of sales professionals can assist with advice and warehouse design, along with their engineers who can provide technical expertise. Their engineers can also design and certify structural steel projects.

NEW QUEENSLAND WAREHOUSE OPENS - Feb 2011

January 2011 was a proud month for national company Mezzanine Engineering with the opening of its new Queensland headquarters.
"With the fast growth of south east Queensland and the ever-increasing demand for our products and services, it was inevitable that we'd require a larger Queensland facility sooner rather than later", said Mr Al Tilsley, State Manager, at the opening of their new facility.

"The commercial corridor stretching the M1 motorway from the NSW border to Brisbane is a huge growth area for modern industry and with the ever-increasing price of commercial real estate in south east Queensland the demand for our space-saving products, including mezzanine floors and pallet racking, has increased by almost 30% over the past 5-years, so a new facility was necessary", said Mr Tilsley.

The new warehouse is conveniently located just one minute off the M1 at 18 Hawker St Currumbin 4223 and will be the new base for servicing Mezzanine Engineering's customers throughout south east Queensland.
